The opening event of the Fête de la Musique, a music festival that marks the summer solstice, will feature a concert by the Swing Agents. An ensemble bringing together top jazz students of the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana, under the tutelage of Prof. Milan Stanisavljević, Swing Agents inject energy, style and technical perfection into a variety of jazz styles from swing to soul. The musicians are known for their love of rhythm, improvisation and ensemble playing, as well as a combination of youthful daring and maturity far beyond their years. A perfect introduction to the escalating pre-festival fever gripping the nation before this year’s edition of Europe’s oldest jazz festival.
