Playing our festival in a saxophone duo format, they navigate the interferences of sound objects and electronic loopbacks. The Apulian sax player, composer, arranger and conductor Pasquale Cal\u00f2 is the founder of the Improvisers Collective and the artistic platform Mediterraneo Radicale. As a composer and conductor, he is known for his work in the Torino-Milano Improvisers Orchestra, Mediterraneo Radicale Orchestra, European Improvisers Orchestra and the Orchestra Mediterranea degli Improvvisatori.<\/p>\n<p>One of the three Arist-In-Residence concerts.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ellipsis\" id=\"ellipsis-1965737526\" style=\"opacity: 0; position: absolute; z-index: -1;\">...<\/span><span class=\"rmwp-button-wrap\" id=\"rmwp-button-wrap-1965737526\" style=\"display: none;\"><button name=\"read more\" type=\"button\" onclick=\"rmwpButtonAction( '1965737526', 'More ...', 'Less' )\">More ...<\/button><\/span><span class=\"rmwp-toggle \" id=\"rmwp-toggle-1965737526\" style=\"display: none\">About our this year\u2019s Artist-in-Residence<br \/>\nThe versatile saxophonist, electronic music artist and composer Bo\u0161tjan Simon is the leader of There Be Monsters and a member of Etceteral, Velkro, Lito\u0161t, Zhlehtet, Robert Juki\u010d Kvartet, Kristijan Krajn\u010dan\u2019s &#8220;Med se iskri v temi&#8221;, Orkester Brez Meja and Arkos. Since 2017 he has been the artistic co-director of the International Meeting of Saxophonists SAXGO in Nova Gorica, and since 2022 the artistic director of the experimental music festival Sound Explicit.
