Now, after a three-year hiatus, this dynamic quintet emerges once more, reigniting the stage with a fresh repertoire and a slightly reimagined lineup. The departure of drummer Bojan Krhlanko has made way for the talented Kristijan Krajn\u010dan, a longtime collaborator of Simon, author of the performance Med se iskri v temi and a member of Robert Juki\u010d Quartet. This five-headed musical beast is renowned for its exuberant, whimsical, and delightfully unpredictable arrangements, complemented by bursts of inventive and essential improvisation. Since 2017 he has been the artistic co-director of the International Meeting of Saxophonists SAXGO in Nova Gorica, and since 2022 the artistic director of the experimental music festival Sound Explicit.
