Her versatility is reflected in the richly varied collaborations that have seen her perform with the likes of Radiohead, Lee Scratch Perry, Transglobal Underground, Arturo O\u2019Farrill, Natacha Atlas, Obongjayar, etc.<\/p>\n<p>A prominent protagonist of the exciting \u201cLondon\u2019s new jazz\u201d scene, Yazz released her debut album, <em>Finding My Way Home<\/em>, in 2011. It was her second album, <em>La<\/em> <em>Saboteuse<\/em> that truly made a major impact, clocking up multiple rave reviews, including Jazz Album of the Year in <em>The Wire<\/em> magazine.<span class=\"ellipsis\" id=\"ellipsis-2047368796\" style=\"opacity: 0; position: absolute; z-index: -1;\">...<\/span><span class=\"rmwp-button-wrap\" id=\"rmwp-button-wrap-2047368796\" style=\"display: none;\"><button name=\"read more\" type=\"button\" onclick=\"rmwpButtonAction( '2047368796', 'More ...', 'Less' )\">More ...<\/button><\/span><span class=\"rmwp-toggle \" id=\"rmwp-toggle-2047368796\" style=\"display: none\">The result of a long-standing collaboration with Tomorrow\u2019s Warriors, a key\u00a0initiative of the bedrock of\u00a0British music, Ahmed\u2019s third album <em>Polyhymnia <\/em>was a hugely ambitious project, featuring an extended ensemble of 25 musicians while \u201ccelebrating female courage and determination\u201d.
