In 2024, as the Aug.unis duo, Simon and Homan did a short tour of Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Austria), and played the Slovenian Sajeta and Cmakajne festivals.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>For the Jazz Festival Ljubljana, the two have recruited a European jazz legend, the influential Belgian pianist and keyboardist Jozef Dumoulin, who has already worked with Homan as a guest member of his Rotterdam Electronic Improv Orchestra. Augmenting the duo format with his unique approach to sound, Dumoulin and Aug.unis are perfectly matched.<span class=\"ellipsis\" id=\"ellipsis-1702547672\" style=\"opacity: 0; position: absolute; z-index: -1;\">...<\/span><span class=\"rmwp-button-wrap\" id=\"rmwp-button-wrap-1702547672\" style=\"display: none;\"><button name=\"read more\" type=\"button\" onclick=\"rmwpButtonAction( '1702547672', 'More', 'Less' )\">More<\/button><\/span><span class=\"rmwp-toggle \" id=\"rmwp-toggle-1702547672\" style=\"display: none\"><\/p>\n<p>One of the three Arist-In-Residence concerts.<\/p>\n<p>About our this year\u2019s Artist-in-Residence<br \/>\nThe versatile saxophonist, electronic music artist and composer Bo\u0161tjan Simon is the leader of There Be Monsters and a member of Etceteral, Velkro, Lito\u0161t, Zhlehtet, Robert Juki\u010d Kvartet, Kristijan Krajn\u010dan\u2019s \u201cMed se iskri v temi\u201d, Orkester Brez Meja and Arkos. Since 2017 he has been the artistic co-director of the International Meeting of Saxophonists SAXGO in Nova Gorica, and since 2022 the artistic director of the experimental music festival Sound Explicit.
