Five Concerts and
a Festival Commission

Day three of the 67th Ljubljana Jazz Festival will begin in Štih Hall with the second performance of this year’s festival commission, Pasquale Mirra: Jagged Rhythms. Created especially for the festival by Italian vibraphonist Pasquale Mirra in collaboration with Slovenian visual artist Petra Strban, the multimedia project offers a fresh perspective on the poetry of Srečko Kosovel.

The festival will then move to CD Park for performances by the Toni Lah Quartet, Chilean saxophonist Melissa Aldana with Filin, Vita Kobal’s Daydream Fragments, and the Patricia Brennan Septet.

The evening will conclude in CD Club with Polish quartet Błoto, before DJ K’Pow closes out Friday’s festival programme.
